Is there any way to change default explorer.exe with a custom file manager? I've been looking for a way to use a custom UI that I can add to over time and decided to write my own, but would like it to work in place of explorer.exe.

My pc has two hard drives. Is it possible to selectively mirror files/folders to the second drive in case one drive packs up? I don't want to mirror whole drives just some files and folders. Thanks

I use cable for internet. I switch between two different machines. Each time I switch, the computer won't go online. I have to turn the modem off, unplug it, clear out all the temp and cache folders on the computer, then plug the modem back in. This is tedious.
