Hi, All,
Here's a real stumper! I need some advice from someone who really
understands the "guts" of Win XP!
I am using Win XP SP2, and I have recently lost the "New Bitmap Image"

The following happened:
When logging off and shutting down from windows few days ago, apparently
there was no diskspace left (so I discovered later), and something went wrong
when windows was saving my user profile to disk.

Cant figure this one out.  Whenever I click on my DVD drive in Windows
Explorer, all of the files are associated with FireFox and display the
FireFox icons on them.  I have already uninstalled Firefox. How can i restore
the default association for the DVD Drive?

I have just resotored an friends computer for her.  Her kids had it full of

Hi people,
would like to know info on the task manager. Specifically the processes tab.
I have about 52 processes running, which if any can I stop. Also what exactly

When i start up winxp in the msconfig cmd it shows to be the normal startup
but
there is no network, no help and support, no printers and no Mcafee.  Other
program is OK.
