Im having this issue when i log onto my computer i keep getting msn message
that wnat to run everytime i log on. For one i went into msconfig and
unchecked the setting saved the setting and restarted the computer, however
after the restart everything works great msn messager ...

Whenever I select a folder to view in list mode, it often reverts back to
the default view.  I want ALL folders in MY FOLDERS to ALWAYS appear in list
mode.  How can I do this?

I bought my laptop 5-6 yrs ago; it came with Windows XP - Home. I blindly
accepted any upgrades offered whilst online (I admit it, I’m computer

I don't need any users on my Windows XP PC.  Can I delete all users so that
on bootup it doesn't stop and ask me to click on a user icon?  I don't want

i have a problem in configuring dual boot..i have got 80gb hard disk and i
installed
winxp pro in it ..unforunatley my hard disk was crashed so i gave it to the

over the weekend the folder task of local disk c: (the root folder) changed
to "video" from "system" this causes incredible slowdown when accessing any
sub folder containing many files.
how do u reset the folder task of the main root folder back to "system"?

First details: My system is a Laptop with XP Home edition.
A couple of times it happened that for some strange reason, my files and
folders on CDs show a BIG Internet Explorer icon superimposed over the

We eliminated the Small Business Server from our network and installed
Windows 2003 Server in workgroup. Part of the clients still login with old
