In our domain, we are connected around 100 PCs. except for a user (myadmin), we have given all other users as domain users power only. However if any user require admin rights for their PCs we give admin rights to their user name in that pc through the myadmin user only.

I just got a new workstation, HPxw8400 with 4gb ram, running winXP 32bit pro. Same configuration on my old HPxw8200. I could see 4gb resident on the old 8200 but I can only see 3gb resident on the new 8400. Any ideas why?

I had a program that was deployable from the shortcut menu, by right-clicking on a folder. Even though I removed the program (via Add/Remove Programs), its shortcut still appears when I right-click a folder. How do I remove this item from the shortcut menu?

I connected a PC from workgroup to a domain. Its a big network and i am sure that there is no problem in the server side as we are using around 1000 PCs in a single domain. Also, the pc i connected in the domain is a new installed windows XP SP2.

Once you've used net config server /hidden:yes to hide an XP Pro Workstation, what all is involved in "unhiding" it? Simply rerunning that with /hidden:no doesn't seem to do the trick and Microsoft says that the command is permanent? Hmmm...
