Whenever I shut down and then reboot, all cookies disappear. During one boot
cycle, I can exit and restart IE 7 and the cookies remain. When I reboot all
cookies are gone.

Some time ago I read in one of the newsgroups that if one copied the i386
folder from the installation CD for Windows XP to the c drive, that one
could run sfc /scannow without inserting the installation CD. This used to

Pls help - Right Mouse Click doesn't work in Windows Explorer and on Desktop,
but works normally everywhere else. Also, Tooltips showing folder size popup
in the right WE window, but don't in the left Folders window. File, folder

I'm getting a "red x" pop-up box with the following error message EVERY time
I start or re-start (bott or re-boot) WinXP SP2.
Error pop-up title bar says: "svchost.exe" - Application Error
