I have created a Flash USB Drive with the Wireless Network Setup in
Windows Vista and when I run it in WinXP it does not work.

dropped are ALWAYS cut and pasted instead of being copied.. (Duplicated..)?

Hello, I have a need to script the Power button settings for the following
options.  I've attempted to using the settings that are configured within
HKCU\Control Panel\PowerCfg\GlobalPowerPolicy , but the settings appear to be
incomplete as the changes are not reflected on my dev ...

In my WinXP SP2 system configuration utility startup tab are four
items that I have disabled. I note now that the regedit startup key
for each of them starts right off at SOFTWARE; none of them has an
"HK" prefix, like all the active items. Is this because they are

when ever i try to play any sims or command and conquer game i get this
error message.
i even bought brand new discs and i still get the same message.

I have a IBM laptop(with windows XP), the screen is a bit small so I
connected it to a 19"  monitor, but every time when I close the
laptop, the laptop goes into hibernate statu
How do I use the external monitor while my laptop is closed, I dont

When I press ctrl-alt-del, I get the message, "Task Manager has been disabled
by your Administrator."  Not sure how this happened.  How can I get it
enabled again?  Would appreciate any help you can give.

I just reinstalled Windows XP Pro on my machine and when I boot it up
it ask for a password, which I never use. In my previous installation
I did not have this. Can anyone tell me how to turn this off so I can
just boot up and get to work?

I discovered the Volume Control program has disappeared.
It's not in the Add or Remove Programs->Add/Remove Windows Components list.
Any idea what files I need to copy back from backups or the XP installation
