I'd like to kill a batch (cmd) file from a scheduled task (i.e. Control
Panel.Scheduled Tasks). Is there a command/utility that can do that?

Whenever I try to open an Excel or Word file in multiple SharePoint sites
from both a desktop and laptop I get the following error message and IE
crashes.

I used to get an indicator at the bottom of open folders that told me the
number of files and the total size of the the folder.  That no longer
happens, and I would like to retrieve this feature.

My computer was working fine and I think a virus or malware infected my hard
drive and now computer will only show a blank black screen and will not boot

Hi, I converted my hdd partition from FAT32 to NTFS with convert.exe but
after that my computer is too slow and this is the only change that I made.

It seems like whenever we roll out a new version of 3rd party software, like
Acrobat Reader 9 or Firefox 3.5 as of late, the apps will not work with
non-admin users who have roaming profiles.  My guess is because the
installers weren't run as them, so the roaming registry is ...

I accedintly deleted the Remote Access Auto Connection Driver service.
I ran the following command on my XP Pro SP2 machine:
sc delete RasAcd
The service is still there and I can stop and start it normally.

One of our xp workstations will automatically be locked with password
protected after certain period of idle. The strange thing is that the
workstation is not set to password protect on resume. Can someone advise

I'm installing some software on my laptop (which I have been using
