I've tried everything but I can't figure out how to make
the quick launch display as small icons instead of the
default huge chunky ones. Can you help me out here?

view list files and folders in, let's say "list" format

I have XP home, it's a home computer and not on a
network.  I want to know how to change the startup and
shutdown logo's.  I've seen ways to do it for earlyier
verisons on windows. But how do you do it with XP?

from my start button I click on control panel.My control
panel comes in a list not like before they were Icons.
I must of hit the wrong button someplace to change it.

i am having a problem in windows xp looking in zip files.  
i have a backup process that zips up access db's every
night.  i am now setting up an xp machine to replace nt. i
am getting errors because xp is looking in the zipped up

please help me....I just installed XP freshly and for
some reason i only have one local disk drive "C" and it
is full just with systen info. Where did the other local
drive "F" go? How can i get that back?????

I have just upgraded from ME which had Defrag, Disk Cleanup, and Tune Up as
scheduled tasks. How should these be setup with XP? The Add Scheduled Tasks
does not list them.

I have a Lexmark Z52 printer and the custom Lexmark drive has a feature to
do two-sided printing. The standard XP drive is different and has fewer
options/features. When manually installing the Lexmark drive, XP says that
