I've recently installed an XP Professional, i like it but
i have some problems. I am not able to see the status bar
at times.. iwant it to be set as default rather than going
to view and click on the status bar to show it.. can cany

I really don't know the official name for it, but it is
the thing that shows up when your typing a word and it
gives you a list of previously typed words. I would like
to know how to turn it off.

I do not know what changed....When I have a program open
it does not show in the taskbar. Nothing is there related
to any open programs. It does not matter if the program
is minimized or not.

How do I make a program start when XP boots? In Win98, I used to put
shortcuts in the "Startup" folder, but now that just adds them to the start
menu.

How do I alphabetize (sp?) the programs in my "all
programs" list in xp?  They're in random order and it
drives me nuts!

I have posted before about this problem. Is there anyone
who knows how to "repair this"

administrator when I look in each Programs folder.
I want to put all the folders in either my user folder or
the administrator but it won't allow me to change the

a menu which includes "Free porn galleries" as a link.

The "search box" for the "Startium serch engine" is on my
links bar when I open internet explorer. How do I remove
permanently?

My icon title boxes on XP went from clear to the
background color on one profile, but are normal on
another.  How do I change them back to clear?  Thank you

Hi. I know it may be a simple question, but I have my
computer for about 3 years, and a month ago I started to
get a Login Screen (which is completely useless cause I
am the only one using my comp.)

I was wondering if anyone can help me.  I can't get
windows to recognize my microphone....at all.  
What's going on?
