Hi there. Well, my first time using these newsgroups.
This is probably a stupid question, but when I log into
my computer, it still says the old user name as well as
mine. How do I delete her name so just mine appears?

does anyone know the registry key for customizing the "my
computer" with the username on the desktop. I know I can
just type it in over "my computer", I thought I had ran
into a registry update for this.

My father is having trouble figuring out how to shut down
Windows and not the computer.  He has gone into Control
Panel and then to Power Options, but it only turns off the

System32 has grown to a bulky 447MB.
My question: To save disk space, could I burn the dllcache folder contents
to a CD-RW (regularly updated with new inclusions) and delete the folders

I have searched around for this for awhile but I have no luck so far.
Is there a way to enable that I always view the details of all the
folders I go to? I know there is the customize folder, but this is
only useful if I am looking only on my machine. There is a lot of

Can some tell me how to remove the arrows from the shortcuts on the desktop.
I thinks its a matter of changing some registry entry, but I don't remember
which one.
