I have a friend who purchased her computer a couple of

Every time I start Internet Explorer, it is NOT maximized

I have a winxp machine, my desktop has on the left hand
side a blue bar that has the drop down arrows with the
information about files and folders and such. I have tried
to remove this bar and get my whole desktop back however

I reset the DPI and Icon settings to larger sizes. WHen I
log in sometimes, the small sizes appear again.
Similarly, although I set IE text size to larger, it

what action I want to take, every time I insert a CD-ROM

XP pulls up with a choice of what type of Operation
System to start up with screen. How can I eliminate this
extra, time consuming step.
