I have Windows XP Pro installed on both my home's desktop
and work's laptop.  On my PC at home, under My Computer I
have a group called Files Stored on This Computer which
contains the My Documents folder and the Shared Documents

I have tried the screeen savers that came with windows, I
have some others that are bought, and some that I
downloaded for free. I have no viruses. The screen savers
will not launch no matter what time frame I apply in the

On the customized notifications menu in the taskbar and
start menu properties menu, the behavior dropdown menu
changes do not effect the icons displayed on the taskbar.
Also, the when the past items behavior is changed, it has

The task bar will not hide inactive icons, I have this
option turned and the icons I want to hide set in the
properties menu. Any help would be appreciated.

I am trying to set up my outlook express and it keeps
asking me for my incoming and outgoing mail server, i
have no clue what it is, I use rock.com & gawab.com.
Please tell me what i should do to set up my outlook.

I was wondering if it is possible to have XP's task
manager run from the startup folder or registry and
position itself in a minimized state in the notifacation
area. I constantly find myself starting and minimizing

I have my XP desktop configured to use the classic
configuration. I still prefer folders to confusing
cascading menus. For some reason, even though I reset each
folder to "View -> Icons", the folders frequently return

Everytime i try log into my user account lately, it says
it is having difficulties finding my settings....none of
the other accounts on my computer have had any
problems....and even when i try put all my settings back

It has worked earlier however, now when I click on my
CD=R/W shortcut a screen pops up reading "invalid path"
or "path cannot be found". I have gone to properties and
