When I apply 'Thumbnail View' in the My Pictures folder
in My Documents the names of the files and folders are
hidden! All I get is the Thumbnail Icons and no text
underneath them whatsoever. This is very strange because

Hi again.  Today I asked the question listed below about
all XP application windows not opening in maximize. The
suggested solution was to resize the window diagonally.

Does anybody else out there get this grey pop up ad that
says "Messenger Service" at the top?  They pop up even
when not browsing the net.  I know how to get rid of it
but what I don't know is where this is coming from.

I do not have an icon on desktop for Recycle Bin nor can
I find it in any of the program files, control panel, etc.
Where is it?  I know how to empty but can't find it

Anybody know how to increase the maximum number of icons
in the Quick Launch on the Task Bar?  Looks like it is set
to six , then it condenses and you have to click on the
expander to see any additional icons.  I want to show more

For some reason, my Windows XP will not let me
reconfigure my mouse for left-handed use.  The function
is there all right, but it is not highlighted and will
