every time i open a page with errors in it, i get a
window that pops open and asks if i want to debug.  this
gets to be very very annoying as it can happen multiple

New Windows XP computer and I can't seem to find where to change the screen
resolution besides the display properties.  My 9x computer let me, in the
display props, put a tray icon in the system tray so it only took 2 clicks
to change resolution.  I think it's stinky that Win XP ...

I have installed two different scanners (an older HP
4200c and a brand new  
Canon LiDE30).  Each time after installation they
corrupt my start up icons in the lower right system

when trying to install the windows xp service pac the
machine tells me to make sure the cryptografics function
in turned on????? what are we talking about and how do we
change it?????

   I format a floppily and try to copy a Win ? boot disk with an
Autoexe.bat, Configsys and a command.com form my CDR to a that formatted
floppy.
   When I do this I get no Autoexe,config.sys or command.com. So I start

MS Config offers no help, i.e. to delete start-up items.  
Why would installing a scanner eliminate SOME of my icons
and not all.  Is there a way to ORDER the starup programs
so the possible interference or conflict is eliminated?
