Although "Open each folder in the same window" has been
set in folder options, whenever I double click on a

I've tried all the published fixes - they don't work for my situation.  I
have to go through the procedure of Turning Off or Restarting twice before
it happens.  After the first try, a few programs shut down - but the, Win XP
Pro keeps running.  I have to go throught the shutdown ...
