When I go into my control panel, appearance and themes,
mouse pointers and try to change my mouse pointers, it
says that there are no schemes.  Instead of having a pull-
down list of several different schemes, it says none.  Is

I have a Tablet PC running Windows XP Tablet.
When I hold my mouse over (most) buttons, hot links, etc
in menus, dialogue boxes, etc the computer acts as though
I have done a left click. This happens whether I am using

When setting up a new Dell laptop running Win XP Pro, I
remember selecting an option (somewhere) to make caps
lock behave like a manual typewriter - to turn off caps
lock, you have to press Shift.

I am trying to get a windows explorer short cut to open at My Computer I
have tried many things the closest I've come is with %SystemRoot% but it
expands My documents instead of My Computer. Can anyone help with this?

When I right click on the desktop, I dont get my pop up
menu. And when I click on files and folders ina window
vies, I dont get any pop up menus. But, right clicking on

i recently installed xp pro.  everything on my moniter is
now oversized, or bubbly.  with prior windows it was
normal. i have tried to change moiter settings in the

Somehow we have our XP Pro computer where it no longer
show the program icon shortcuts on the desktop. I have
them in the lower bar only.

start menu, and now I am having trouble removing them.

I have a couple unrelated questions (well, they are both
related to my computer).  
First, I just put together a new machine, and I used the
Antec Sonata case (highly recommended, it's great!).  The

I remember there is a location in the Registry I can put a default
"Open" actions for a "unknown" file class/extension but I am not
sure where is it. I would like to tell the os to use Notepad to
try to open any unknown file - just to view its contents - how?

The items I am referring to are actually above the list
of most often used programs, in the area where my icon
for Outlook is located. (I had found the place to reset
that list earlier)
