When setting up a new Dell laptop running Win XP Pro, I remember selecting an option (somewhere) to make caps lock behave like a manual typewriter - to turn off caps lock, you have to press Shift.

I am trying to get a windows explorer short cut to open at My Computer I have tried many things the closest I've come is with %SystemRoot% but it expands My documents instead of My Computer. Can anyone help with this? Thanks Mark

I remember there is a location in the Registry I can put a default "Open" actions for a "unknown" file class/extension but I am not sure where is it. I would like to tell the os to use Notepad to try to open any unknown file - just to view its contents - how?
