I have downloaded some themes from the internet, but
can't get XP to open them.  The files I have downloaded
are Application type, and when I try to apply them to the
desktop, XP won't recognize them.  What can I do?  Your

Up until Windows XP (and even after) I have always partitioned my hard disk
with FDISK. With the new technology of XP I understand you can now partition
you hard disk within Windows. I would like to hear opinions (or maybe even

Each time I open a folder, I have to go to the "view"
then check "Icons".  What is happening however, is that
each time I close a folder then re-open it, it list it
as "details" and not "Icons".  Why is this happening and

My XP opperating system is now working in English and i

Hello, im working on a computer that takes approximately
5 min to boot.  Its a p4 2.0GHz and should not be taking

I know that the Matrox Parhelia supports up to 3 monitors
with its AGP video card.  Is there an alternative with
Windows XP Pro? Can you use one AGP card and two PCI
cards to do the same job?  Will XP Pro recognize this

I have tried with MSKB for a fix to the Welcome to
Windows" not appearing with the awgina.dll (did not find)
& the register fix to delete "gina.dll" - Have also
tried "Kelley's Korner" FIX to No avail.

I was wondering if anyone knows a way that I can customise the
Log Off *USERNAME*
text in the Windows XP start menu? Because of the way our users log
on/off, the username text in here can be rather confusing.
