I am having trouble establishing a home network from my desktop to my
laptop. I try but i get a message saying that an error occured.  In addition
when I start my main machine I get an error saying that a file failed to
load at startup.  I am thinking a XP reinstall will install the ...

When I go to my Start button, and click Search, I don't
get the option to search for files or folders.  I only get
an option to search the internet.  This is only on one
computer I have.  Both have Windows XP Pro.  

Please can anyone help me? I have got several system
restore points set on my xp pro m/c. Whenever i try to go
back to any of them the computer goes through the motions
and then at the end says it cant restore to this restore

my Windows XP themes only give me the options of green,
blue or silver. I miss red! Is there any way to get a
full color spectrum theme especially for the games?

Recently the opens with preferences on my folder and hard
drive were changed, I don't know what glitch caused
this.  However, the program no longer opens the folder
upon double click, and instead sends me to a search

when I change the 'opens with' preferences under "Folder
Options" in the control panel, the new they become
permanent upon closing the dialog window.  There's no way
to remove an item from the new actions become permanent.  

Why is the "Require user to press Ctrl+Alt+Del check box"
is inactive?  The box is not checked and I can't check if
I wanted to.
