I have a dial up Windows XP Home Edition 2002 with a dial
up Modem 56Kbps....and I am having difficulty with the

I am running XP Pro and NOT using the Welcome screen to
log on.  I use the logon window where you have to type
your user name in and type the password.  I like this way
to log on.  However, I do not like the Windows XP "style"

mine have to be logged on?...or can it just sit there ...

Somehow, the tabs for screen saver, desktop pattern, video
setting all disappeared from Control Panel. How do I
restore them?   Have tried a full System Restore and it
didn't work.
