Whether it is a floppy disk or a USB flash drive, I cannot get XP to remember each folder's settings: dimensions, location, view (Icons, List, Details), which columns to display in Details mode (especially handy when working within a Briefcase), and so on.

There is no option to "Enable Web Content in Folders" in Windows Explorer under Tools\Folder Options\General. How do I enable this feature? I am new to XP but am a veteran at 95,98, NT, and 2000.

As until I upgraded to Windows XP Professional, when I clicked to turn off the computer, it shut off automatically(windows 98) Now, I have to use the rocker switch at the back of my cabinet. Is there a fix for this?
