Whether it is a floppy disk or a USB flash drive, I cannot get XP to

to make a computer with "clean" installations of the three target operating
systems for the software (98SE, 2000, XP) and was wondering how to go about

How do I get rid of it from automatically opening in

As until I upgraded to Windows XP Professional, when I
clicked to turn off the computer, it shut off
automatically(windows 98) Now, I have to use the rocker
switch at the back of my cabinet. Is there a fix for this?
