Whether it is a floppy disk or a USB flash drive, I cannot get XP to
remember each folder's settings: dimensions, location, view (Icons,
List, Details), which columns to display in Details mode (especially
handy when working within a Briefcase), and so on.

We just recently upgraded from Win2K to XP in our
office.  Usually the computers automatically shutdown and
turns off when given the command.  We have one
workstation that doesn't do that and we would have to

I'm new to Windows XP.  Where do I find the tool bar that
has the "related items" icon.  Used to be on other
versions of Windows.  Please don't tell me they've taken

There is no option to "Enable Web Content in Folders" in
Windows Explorer under Tools\Folder Options\General.  How
do I enable this feature?  I am new to XP but am a veteran
at 95,98, NT, and 2000.

As until I upgraded to Windows XP Professional, when I
clicked to turn off the computer, it shut off
automatically(windows 98) Now, I have to use the rocker
switch at the back of my cabinet. Is there a fix for this?

If we all ignore the rantings of this man, maybe, just maybe he will load
Linux onto his computer and then the Linux newsgroup will be able to enjoy
