everything on my windows xp is tiny the web pages dont come out normal size the icons on the toolbar are tiny nothing is normal. we had to reinstall windows xp and now its all weird help!

I have done something to remove the background screen during boot up, and shut down. Now I get a screen that changes, and tells me what it is doing. Things such as "playing start up sound" etc. Same thing happens when it shuts down. Any ideas on how to change back to ...
