A little confusion here ... using WinXP Home ... frequently I receive a
little pop-up near my clock, indicating one of my MSN Contacts is on line,
although there is no indication on my screen or desktop that I am signed on
to any MSN Messenger type service ... when I sign on to MSN ...

How can I edit the registered Owner name? I gave my
computer to my daughter and would like to have her name
as the registered owner.

Is there any setting or utility available that will simulate Win98-like
shutdown/startup options for XP.  In particular, I would like to tell XP to
restart to a command prompt without having to hit F8 while my PC boots.

hope I can explain my problem clearly.
Since re-installing XP it has created new accounts in the
documents and settings folder.  
Where before mine was called Gaz it has one now called

HELP- i do not know why or how but on my desktop to the

Is it possible to change the size of the little box on the taskbar for each
program that is open?  I know that I can group them using Tweak, but I would
like to make them shorter horizontally.  That way I could get more on the
taskbar.  About half the size would be nice.
