How can I delete an item found in the System
Configuration Utility Startup tab?

When I insert a compact flash card into my usb card
reader, Windows gives me a list of choices:
Copy pictures to a folder ...
Print the ...

on the Guest Account
on my stand alone computer
i cannot seem to access the dial up connection
so that guests can use the internet and

I need to move some of the volume of my D drive (NTFS) back to my C drive (FAT32).  Is this possible without having to re-install or without losing any data? With all of the security updates, I'm running out of space on my C drive.

i currently have one partition on my computer 'C:' and for
some reason I  can't partition it under Windows XP's
Device Manager/Computer Management/Disk Manager. It is
NTFS. What can I do besides buy a Partition Manager

Is this latest cumulative patch for IE really causing
these marking text amd text marking vanishing with just a
mouse click anywhere on the toolbar, for instance the
up/down arrow and the marking vanishes?

In Windows XP Pro SP1, I am unable to get screen savers
to activate. The wait time shows 10 minutes, but the time
is grey-out. As a result, I am unable to set the time or
to automatically activate any of the listed screen

I recently installed windows XP pro, and all relevant
updates.  Shortly after this (approximately 3 hours
usage), I had reboot the computer and the theme defaulted
to "windows classic."  I went to the display properties

I was 'Playing about' with the screen resolution in XP and
I've managed to set it so that I cant see the taskbar or
start button at the bottom of my screen.  I consequently
cant see or operate any menus to get back into control

I got a problem with the windows xp professional taskbar.
The problem is: if I start a program, as word for example,
the icon and document name don´t appear at the taskbar
area. If I close the language bar icon the taskbar closes

Using XP w/outlook express I wanted two users to access
the same message store folder.  I changed the store
folder on user1 and changed User2 to the same folder. It
seems to work fine, but the contents of the original

I'm trying to redirect some folders to my secondary hard
drive (Disk 1).  I understand this is accomplished by

Windows XP keeps creating the 'My pictures' , 'My
music' , 'My E-Books' in the 'My Documents' drawer. Also,

I just installed windows XP. I want my son to be a limited
user. In his account i get the message: ms word has not
been installed for the current user. Please run setup to
install the application.
