I'd like to know if there's a way to reorder startup programs (the order in which they start). The reason is because, sometimes, all my background icons don't show up in the System Tray - and I'm thinking that, perhaps, reordering them would help. Thanks.......

When I preview screensaver it is fine. When I`m not using computer screensaver doesn`t come on, I just get small box that says---screensaver main from. Can anyone help me?

I just upgraded to windows XP and now I have vertical stripes over the 3/4 of my desktop. The windows pop up over them, however my desktop is unviewable. HELP

I was logging off and somehow hit an invalid key sequence. Instead of Ctrl-Alt-Del I pressed something that caused the screen to rotate 90 degrees to the right. Anyone know how to restore it to the original position?

Hello, I am running XP Home. I started IE 6 and it went to the Microsoft update page like it does every so often to check for updates. I downloaded and installed all the updates but now, everytime I start IE it goes to the update page even though there are no updates to download.

At one time, the name of my subfolder within 'Documents and Settings' was just 'Phil' (my account name), but now it is 'Phil.XXXX' where XXXX is the name of my computer. The 'Phil' folder still exists, but current activity such as Favorites now shows up in 'Phil.XXX'.
