I have selected "small icons" in TaskBar and Start Menu
Properties box. However, while the icons in the system
tray and the open programs/files area are small, the ones
in the quick launch bar are large.

To do that I had to disable offline file something.  What
does that do and did I want to do that?  I don't remember
that in windows 98.

I have 2 (probably related) problems using XP home:
1] For one user only, the start menu has suddenly started displaying only
half the installed programs.  To get at the rest you have to click on a
double chevron icon at the bottom of the menu.  It never used to do this.

Somehow when I changed my account to limitd, the
administrator account dissapeared and can't be found. All
works well except I can't get into mocorsoft money where

using winxp pro.
when I insert a new disc in my cd-rom or dvd-drive and click into the drive
from my computer it shows the directory content of the previous disc...
..even if I hit refresh a thousand times it still does.....
