how can i change the audio playback device to the older
media player rather than the default windows media player?

I am trying to create documents and then use the SAVE AS
feature to save them to the CDRW.  It used to work great;
however, now I receive an error and it will not save it as
the origingal file..  It will save it as a temporary file.

When I click in a folder to view its contents, everything
is underlined.  The writing on the desktop is unerlined,
can you help me take it off?

I would like to know how I can stop Picture and Fax Viewer from being the
default preview program for picture files.  I have been in the file
association settings and there is nothing there to do this.  I would like
another program to open the files when I double click on them.

I have a second hard drive (D:) on my PC that I have loaded
with XP. I want to remove my current C: drive and put the
D: drive in its place but my PC does not recognize it as a
bootable volume.

one of my PC's is used as a file and print server and
pretty much is left on his own. To preserve energy I
switch it off from time to time and wake it up remotely

We are running Windows XP.  On our desktop there is a
thing on the left hand side and it says Folder Tasks,
Other Places and Details.  It looks just like the one if
you open up any folder.  We are not sure how it got there
