How do I make the Status Bar appear every time I open
Explorer? I had it set up that way previously, but after
reinstalling yesterday I can't remember how I did it...

All of a sudden I can't see some web pages.  They tell me that I don't have
java enabled but I do.  I downloaded it again from sun and before I
installed it I uninstalled the old one.  I hope someone has some answers to
this mess.

My XP O/S presents a message that I have not set up a
default mail client even though I have. It urges me to
use Outlook which I don't.  How can I get rid of theis
message that btw requires 3 "o.k.'s" to blow away each

i want to change the default folder where files save to
when clicking the save icon.  files are currently saved
to 'my documents' and 'my music'.  i want it to default
to desktop or another folder.

When I right click on the desktop I get nothing, no menu.  Also my Icons are transparent, which I could change If I had a right click menu on the desktop.  Please help, I can't afford 275 for a MS call!  Thanks.

I got this email that claims it is from Microsoft, but I don't think it is.
It has an attachment that I will not open due to the risk of it infecting my
computer, does anyone have any info on it. The Subject Line Reads "Last Net
Upgrade" and it From: Microsoft.

I got a second hand hard drive and would like to run my
music composition tools on an uncluttered platform. Can I
run  xp from two hard drives with a prompt at power up
asking which drive I want to boot to? If that's too lame
