does anyone know how to add a link (actully a

I try to copy a 13GByte file from my primary drive to
secondary drive & encounter error repot from XP.

I am running XP home edition. After each restart I have to
reset my Explore appearance. The "Favorite" window is
closed, and also the Explorer window size is not as I had
left it before shut-down.

I seem unable to customize my folder arrangement. In the Recycle Bin, the
default arrangement is by Name, but I would like to arrange by date deleted.
I change this setting and all is fine until I restart and the view is reset.
I have 'Remember each folder's settings' checked in ...

My daughters computer keeps rebooting for no reason at all.  I thought there

I'm trying to clear the "My Recent Documents" list, not
the most recently used programs list.  So Right clicking
on the Start button, customize button, clear button, does
not clear the "My Recent Documents" list.

How do I clear the list called "My Recent Documents"?  
It's found under the START button.
