A "hotbar " appears just under my address bar. If I right
click it I get an option to close hotbar. If I close it,
it then goes away however it reappears every time I

On a Win XP Pro Multiboot PC, I originally loaded XP on a
separate SCSI drive.  I later Ghosted that SCSI partition
to the 3rd partition of my (Now bigger) primary IDE drive.

I just finished installing Windows XP on my computer and
when it starts up, only the top 1/4 of the task bar at
the bottom of the screen is visible.  How do I correct
this so that I can see the whole task bar?  Thanks.

Here's a weird one.
Every once in awhile, the Internet Explorer icon disappears from my start
bar (quick launch toolbar), until I restart my computer.
Any guesses as to why this happens?

When I right click the desktop-it comes up with the "display properties" page with no tabs.  If I click on another theme-and then apply-it brings up the tabs.  How do I fix this so when I right click the desktop-it comes up with the "themes" page and the rest of the tabs?  This ...

i have recently changed my setting to allow me to enter a password on
startup/log on
but for some reason it seems to be having problems and has 'system had a

I am still having problems since I redone my computer
last.  The Icons that I change for My Computer, Recycle
Bin and Network Neighborhood still will not stay after I
change them.  I also noticed that If I rename my computer

I have been running my Windows XP with the classic start
menu setup, because that's what I've always been used to.
I thought I'd better get up to date and try out all of
XPs options so I chaged the start menu back to the

now. Is there anyway to have the date and time on the
task bar and not just the time or hovering the mouse over
