How do I restore the desktop the the XP default settings

XP USER ACCOUNTS
I currently have two user accounts: My own user account
(administrator account) and a 'Guests' user account.
When I created a dial-up internet connection via Network

HELP......... I accidentily deleted my cd writer program.
My son  reinstalled it, but it is only accessible under
his users name. Obvioulsy the program is somewhere within
my computer. Please help

 about 5 weeks ago, when I tried to change my power
options[to hibernate] at two hours instead of 3-it did not
work, and no mater how I try, I can't get the computer to
hibernate anymore. It used to do all-ie: monitor turns off

How do I change the defaults on the window that pops up
when I scan something.  It is always: flatbed, color, 100
dpi and some silly paper size.  I have to change these
settings everytime I want to scan something to feeder,

I installed a USB Digital Camera Card reader to my PC and
it brought up a dialog asking me what I wanted to do when
this device (removable disk) was plugged in each time.  I
selected open up an explorer window and clicked the box

When I click on all programs I get a window with three
wide columns. I can not read anything in the third
column. How do I make the columns smaller, or configured
in a way that I can see all programs installed?

I'm runningwindows XP Professional, when want to view the System Information, it brings an error.
Can't collect information.Check to see that the Winmgmt service is running.

This is just a small problem but it's annoying me to no end. ;)
XP will not remember how I want to display icons in a certain folders.
Most of my stuff I display in detail view but some folders I want Icon
view. Well I have to change it every time I reboot because it always

can the clock and calender be set to appear on screen all
the time?

I have just discovered beaucoup files at
c:\Documents and Settings\me\Local Settings\Temp
which I manually deleted.
But how can I set XP to, say, remove them at every shutdown?

I have xp and msn 8, but do not have OE or Office, would like spellcheck
with e-mail. Where can I get a dictonary or something to have
spellcheck. Thanks.

I do not know what caused this to stop working, but now
when I right click on the desktop, nothing happens.  No
window opens to allow new files to be created or access
into the display properties.  Nothing at all happens.
