I have the hide inactive icon box checked  and they aren't
hiding? Is there something else I can do to make it work

I'd like to make details the defualt in explore instead of
folders which is my current default.  Is that possible?  
How do I change it.   I already now how to change one
screen to details; I'm looking ot change the default.

I have a specific pictures I want on my boot up screen and

I want to open text files with Notepad, but can't do it.  When I click
on a text file in Explorer nothing happens.  In Tools/Folder Options it
shows application to open the file as Notepad.  I have tried right
clicking and then going to Open With... and manuvering to Windows\System

Limited.  Both the administrator and limited accounts
could access the internet up until a week ago.  Now only

Desktop icons are positioned on top of each other.  Icons
can't be moved and are locked in position but icon lock
