I have the hide inactive icon box checked and they aren't hiding? Is there something else I can do to make it work again ? It just stopped hiding them? ty

I'd like to make details the defualt in explore instead of folders which is my current default. Is that possible? How do I change it. I already now how to change one screen to details; I'm looking ot change the default.
