Is there a way to enhance the quality of the screen in XP?
I have done it with some sort of "program",
possibly within XP,
but now I don't remember what it was...

i cant see my dekstop items only if i open my desktop in a folder how can i enable my desktop

As the subject says, the icon has gone missing.
I have no idea how long it's not been there for cos I
only just noticed today!!

I have just brought a DEll 8600 and have never used
Windows XP before.  I clicked on START and then clicked on
MY COMPUTER.  Against  C:DRIVE, I clicked on BROWSE and
then inadvertantly I think I double clicked on PINBALL.  

Can anyone tell me how to eliminate the startup password
box with windows xp?  I have 2 identical computers,
running xp, and one has the box, and the other doesn't.  
Got rid of it once but can't remember where!  Am NOT using

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to change the
resolution from 800x600 to 1024x768 (Or Whatever) On only
one Windows XP account? Everytime I change it, it changes
all the accounts to that. All I want is one like that.

every time i turn on my computer i have the OS choice and they are both windows XP help me i just need one how do i take the other one off

When I save a site to favorites, it shows the sites icon
next to the address.  After I turn off my computer and
restart it, the icons are gone.
Is there some way of keeping them from disappearing and

Activity is displayed in Packets sent/received; a
different machine displays it in bytes...  How do I
change the activity type?

I have two machines sharring files and internet by a crossover LAN
connection.  One can use the modem to call out and the other can
share, but the Guest account cannot activate the modem.
I double click and nothing happens.  The Admin accounts work fine on

Anyone there?  I've gotten my toolbar dragged to the side
of the screen and I can't get it back!  Im going blind and
getting dizzy trying to function with it there.

I just set up 20 new XP Pro computers on a NetWare/Microsoft network.
I must have been in a hurry because I misspelled someones name
somewhere.  Does anyone know where the "Start menu" draws the users
name from?
