I Installed Autopatcher XP on my system and I let it do its thing. What I didn't realize was it installed a registry setting that disabled the welcome screen and made classic logon the default. I go into user settings in control panel and check welcome screen and fast

I enabled the Japanese language so I could get and send e- mails in both languages. However, when I am looking at English language websites, many times Japanese characters are interspersed with the English. This is very annoying.

I added the taskmanager to the autostart folder, but it starts too ealy, i.e. it is not loaded and shown within the information area (systray) right hand end of the task bar I need to stop the taskmanager and run it again, after the complete boot sequence has finished, only then ...

The desktop tab is missing from my display properties (Windows XP Pro Ver 5.1 SP 1) How can I change the desktop background without this tab. Also if I right- click on a picture there is no option to save as desktop.
