How can I add items to the search option in start menu?

I have WinXP Pro SP1 installed w/ 1GB of ram, I want to change my virtual
memory to 3GB I go to System Properties-Advance-Performance Options-Virtual
Memeory Change set Initial Size and Maximum Size to 3000 select set and

When I create icons by either copying or creating
shortcuts, two icons appear on the screen. When I remove
one of them, the second one only stays until I start an

I need to resize the partition sizes of my hard drive.
I have one partition of 37gb and one of 8mb.

to be...I've tried using the on-monitor adjustments to no avail...how can I

how do i set the default view setting for folders on CDs and ftp sites
to 'List'?  whenever i open a folder on a CD or ftp site it opens in
thumbnail view - i don't want that.

I know how to add an animated signature but I saw one a year ago that has your name fly in from one side of the screen while your title and where you work fly in from the other. Does anyone know how to find such an animation. or what code I would have to write to create it?

I have a problem with with a taskbar in Windows XP - any
window, which is opened in full or minimized, does not
show as a button on the taskbar, although the taskbar
itself is visible and is not hidden.
