I've been going nuts trying to figure this one out...How do I disabled the Windows logo key so that it does not open the start menu when it is pressed? I don't want it to do anything when it's pressed alone.

When I try to turn off my computer it gets to the logging off screen and then seems to freeze. The only way I can continue is to switch it off with the power button, which presumably means that Windows is not shutting down

I setup up logon domain, and roaming profiles, and stuff... And, well, among many files created, this is one of them. If I delete it, it gets re-created. The thing is... Windows actually RUNS that file as a StartUp file. So every time I log on I get a Notepad window with that file's ...

I just noticed that the power settings don't save. When I set the number of minutes for the monitor,hard disk and standby to turn off and click on SaveAs, when I go back, it is gone!
