My boss wants to remove the color behind names of icons
listed on the desktop.  I figured out how to changes the
color of the box the words are in, but he wants it clear,
no color, clear where the background image can be seen.  

As I was reconfiguring my system (new hard disk and new XP
OS) somehow my root hard drive got assigned as "F"
not "C".  The "C" lable is currently NOT in use.  Up until

restart it. A few of them move one position over from where I left them on
shutdown. How do I get them to stay where I left them?

I cannot maunually put my computer into hibernation. I
have selected enable hibernation under power options but
when I press my power buton and it asks me what I want to
do, hibernation is not included as one of the options.

Using XP Home.  I get the time in the bottom right corner in the tray.  I want it to show the day of the week too.  How do I do that?

I don't understand this!  I have renamed the basic desktop
icons (eg. "My Network Places" to "Network") and they've

the home page option is not highlighted so i can not
change home page. I have signed in as administrator and
this is still not higlighted

I have accidentally erased all the power schemes under
the Power Options from the Control Panel in Windows XP.  
Is there any way of restoring the default schemes or
downloading them from anywhere?
