how do i get rid of the drop down feature on the adress

I am the only user of my computer.  The "my documents"
folder appears in two places - 1)directly under "Desktop"
and 2)under Local Disk (C), Documents & Settings, (my
name), my documents.  While the two folders are ALMOST

I have a KDS Rad5 LCD MONITOR.  When I attempt to use the
energy saving option to close down the monitor in the
minimal power mangement selection, it doesn't work.  I
set it to shut down in 15 minutes, click apply and OK and

I'm installing WinXP Pro SP1 on a new hard drive in a new PC.  It's
currently the only hard drive in the PC.  I intend to keep it a single
partition.

Deleting screen names is impossible when I sign in under
Master screen name a box appears saying screen names can
not be deleted that have Registered Devices? this means

Downloaded a whole whack of very cool icons, but when I
went into control panel>folder options>file types>file
folder>advanced and changed icon, it didn't change the
icon of all the regular folders...is there a special way
