How to move "Documents and Settings" folder to another
place?

Hello.  Does anyone know how to get background pictures to
be displayed in folders?  I know how to do it on ME and 98
but I cannot do it on XP and I have searched all through
FAQ's and have found no help there.  There was mention made

I downloaded something about Japaneze language, and now
everything is is Japaneze.  How do I get everything back
to English. What I was really wanting to do was to dl
something that would translate Japaneze to Engligh,

When I open Explorer The My documents displays first with all documents
showing. I want Explorer to open and display content of c:\  How do I set
this up?

Using Xp and touchpd mouse,when pointer rests on
selection,selection occurs without any click on my

how do i get xp to not remember characters i key in

i do not like the feature where characters i have punched
in are recalled the next time i go to punch something in.

Everytime i have installed new programs i noticed that my
Program Listing in Start Menu will not be sorted
automatically all i have to do is just right click and
select Sort By Name. Except from clicking Sort By Name do

How do you delete desktop pictures out of the background
group. My daughter saved a bunch of pictures in the
background file and I can't delete them. Anybody got any

Since upgrading to winxp pro from win me my computer goes
to sleep (Back to the xo screen saver) in too short a time
when the computer is not active. Its a pain leaving it for
a few minutes and having to log back on again as a user.

I screwed Up I attempted an upgrade from win 98 to XP
pro.  No matter what I did the upgrade would not go
through.
I then went through the pro installation everything went

In XP-pro, I am trying to get Windows Explorer to open
with a view that has folders in the left pane, with the C
drive folders (+ sign) expanded and that shows the C
drive root, with folder and file details, in the right

When setting up a scheduled tasks just as an antivirus scan, it requires the
user name and password to run. The problem is that the password I set won't
stay in there for it to run.
The run as has the computer name followed by a / and then my user name. I

I wanted to know if i could put passwords on folders that i dont want my child getting into.
