When I'm in an "open file" window in XP (ie. MSN
Messenger's send files option or START > RUN > Browse
window) all files are always arranged in reverse

Is there a way to customize the places bar that is used
by most programs when searching for files to open?  I've

Hey all,
I'm going for the "icon-free" look on my desktop.  I've
managed to get rid of all but one icon, the Recycle Bin.
Any ideas on how to get the icon to disappear?  I have

l am looking for a way to edit the default/minimum setting on the
quick launch toolbar.  you can only shrink it down to 3 icons and l'd
like to cut this down to one.  l've tried searching both the registry

I have set up an user account on my xp home. Whenever I try to change the desktop backround or wallpaper nothing happens. I can change it on the owner account fine even tried to give administrator rights to that account and still nothing. Also my System restore marks restore ...

When I first choose and apply a Theme I get all of the Themes icons, but, the System icons (My Computer, Network Places & Recycle Bin) revert back to the default ones. Any Ideas??

I looked in the task manager, and noticed that every task was using approximately
equal amounts of memory and pagefile.  Also, under the performance tab, a fair
amount of pagefile is being used.

I'm trying to find software where I can keep my resolution at 800x600
or 640 x 480 but have the desktop size set to 1024x768. Where if you
put the mouse to the edge of the desktop it will move so you can use

How many different seperate users can have logon rights to XP Pro?  At
work, we're trying to create seperate logons with passwords for about
10 different users.  Is this possible?  I want to be able to password
protect each individual user with their own chosen password.
