At one time I knew how to create a folder on the QL Toolbar so that the
contents of the folder cascaded as a list rather than opening the folder.
Now I can't seem to re-create that effect.

I am a student and I was asked this question ... "I like a large desktop. Set the display resolution to 1600x1200." Explain the steps it takes to perform this operation .... my question is .... Does 1600x1200 not make everything on the screen smaller than say 800x600?

Icon titles on the desktop that are longer than a certain
length get condensed when you deselect it or another icon.
For instance the Peachtree Icon Title: Peachtree
Accounting 2004 Professional can be read if selected.

I have a real big problem. Amazing autosearch keeps becoming my
homepage. not only that, it keeps on popping up ads. the other users of
the system can't use IE coz it hangs prolly coz of what Amazing
Autosearch does.

If you look at most of the xp home edition screenshots on
the microsoft website you will see the controll panel and
my computer will (i dont know about the others) will be
like a normall window but it will have a blue background

every time i try to access the components of the control
panel, i get a message saying the system administrator
has disabled that component.  Is there any way to undo
what the system administrator has done?

When a new window is opened......News......I am in AOL, BTW....
Both bottom and side cursor bars appear.  New windows do not "fit".
It is a pain to continually use the bars to see "all" of the new window.
Just appeared as I migrated to XP from ME.  Email is fine...Walt

I've made a mistake and remove the "open" function in Control pannel/
directory settings / type of  folder( extensions)
Now, i must do a right clic and select explore to open my directories
How could i create another function open or retrieve the "open" ive removed?

I recently reformatted my computer and because I have the
upgrade version of XP, I have to install Windows 98 first
and then upgrade it to XP.  Anyhow, upon installation, I
chose New INstallation, instead of Upgrade, and the

I do not see the Screen Saver tab in Display Properties.  
I can only see Themes, Desktop, Appearance and Settings.  
How do I correct this?
