Does running a screen saver use too much memory? At work
our computer person told us not to use screen savers. We
are running 8 computers on a network. Currently we only
use about a quarter of our disk space on each computer.

I'm using the MS Virtual Desktop Manager, one of the
powertools for XP. When switching to a desktop that
contains Excel applications, Excel loses all its menus and

I have tried to find help how to switch to Windows Classic desktop using
program interfaces (registy, APIs) but without any success (W2000 seems to
be easy - just change of one or two reqistry values).
Currently we do the switch XP -> Classic Windows using User Interface as

How can I boot up without having to type in a password to
get to my desktop.  I have tried the Tweak tools, but that
only works for the next bootup.  Any ideas?
