I loaded Microsoft Outlook, and it has taken over as my main email software.  As a reult, when I open Outlook Express, if I try to reply to an email by clicking on the email link, then my computer prevents me with an error message stating thatI must use Outlook.

Is there any way of moving the shared documents folder of XP Pro from it's
default location on drive C: to another physical drive ?

i just upgraded to xp ... i use different graphic
programs like poser and bryce ... the computer keeps
freezing, is there a way to increase my shared
memory ?... do you think this is even my problem?

In the desktop section of desktop properties, when I
chose the background drop down menu it has every picture
in the 'my pictures' folder listed, although this is not
a big problem it is very annoying as only one quarter of

My compaq Presario Desktop has the (original) DVD drive installed. I wish to replace it with an internal DVD R/W drive, so I can record my mini-dv movies onto DVD.
Thought I would inquire here... but is it going to be an basic, easy swap "in & out"

After upgrading to XP, now when I click on ALL PROGRAMS
from the START MENU, it does not list all of my programs,
the screen runs out of room and there is not a way to see
the additional ones that don't fit on the screen.

arranged in alphabetical order. Currently the order is such that the most

Used to be able to do a virus scan from Dos.  My daughters computer has gotten
infected from some place.  Won't even let her boot in to desktop.
Is there a way or shall I say,  a program or emergency disk that can be run from
Dos just for such an instance of this kind.
