Apoligies for having to ask such a dumb question but.... I customized my display settings and everything works fine except when I move the mouse over an object such as a file name or icon it turns blue and I cannot read the text.

After I have installed a list of the latest Windows XP patches, I found that the computer would change the color quality to 8 bit instead of the 32 bit which I have setted. The resolution remains a 1024x768.
