My Computer window keeps losing toolbar customizations29 May 2004 09:45 GMT2
One of the first things I do to my folder windows is change the toolbar
layout. I turn off all text on buttons, set them to large icons, and I move
the Address bar up and to the left of the Standard bar. Then I lock the
toolbars and continue on my merry way.

A buddy of mine showed me a way to cut out pop-ups that
got rid of about 80% of them. I just got a new computer
at home and would like to do the same thing there, but
neither my buddy or I can remember how we did it! I'm

I saw an article the other day about services/features that could be removed
from xp to make it run  faster.  I cannot find it and have done a few
searches for it.  If any of you know of such an article I would greatly
appreciate being pointed to it.

I work at a small business, and would like to do some customization of the

I would like to change the default file saving location in the paint
program that comes with Windows XP but I cannot find anything within the

Hey, I have a computer that will not go past the logon screen. When I boots
up it comes up just fine and goes to the welcome screen. I choose my user
account and it starts to log on but just hangs there. I have been getting

Hi.  Installed a new hard drive ("C")and want to ust the

Could someone please tell me how to remove MSN Messenger from Windows

         I'm trying to print all the files in a folder, but no luck. If I
click edit and select all the file print it's not working. I used to do this
all the time. They are just word and/or excel files. I must of switched

folders and get it to take.  All new folders created seem
