I've been having a problem for a week or two; Icons for
running applications that used to appear in the system
tray do not.  They are not selectively hidden via the
properties...

Guest user accounts are, by default, "Limited Use".  Whenever I download
anything it appears on that desktop page too.  I can't remove these icons
because it's a "Limited Use" account.    Any suggestions?

Is there a way to stop XP from changing the lettering beneath icons
from black to white-with-shadow as soon as I put a .bmp on the
desktop?  It doesn`t seem to matter what size the picture is, whether
it fills the whole screen or is small and centred, as mine is.  I work

I created a new user account on my computer now the old
account has disapeared with alll of my files.  How do I

Normally when I righclick on my hard disk, the "Open"
selection is bold and at the top of the list.  A software
install somehow changed that to "Autoplay" (still bold)
as though it thought my hard disk was a removable drive.

I am new to XP.  I have two users set up on the system.  
I thought I could configure each users desktop seperatly
but when I delete an icon from one desk top it dissapears
from the other one.  Is this suppose to happen?
