I Recently Purchased A computer and it came withWindows XP
all ready installed. and The HD is partioned into to two
drives But I do not want this, AS I want to cusomize my pc
by adding second drive and so on. But I do not have a CD

I've changed my folder icons, so they no longer have the standard yellow
look. However, in thumbnail view the "background" icon or bitmap on which
the pictures from the folder are displayed is still looking the same. How
can I change the look of the folder thumbnail picture?

I would like to change the default settings so that anytime I create a new
user on my XP computer their desktop background is something other than what
the default is now and the screen saver comes on in 45 minutes instead of
the 10.  Can anyone tell me how to do this?

My friend said Lavasoft Ad-aware is better, so which one
can detect and remove spyware better Spybot S&D or

Windows XP (SP1) scambled my icon layout on my desktop again.  I know
there are
a dozen or so icon layout recovery programs, but they only seem to be
preventative, so they would not help me right now.  Normally when this

I recently purchased a new dell with windows xp.  Ran into
some problems setting up anto-virus software, visited the
norton site, and they analyzed my set up.  Said there were

Judging by the performance of several components of my programs, I have
several corrupted keys.  The question is if I format my disc to clean it
completely, prior to a full install of XP Home, will it keep its current
NTFS format or do I need a tool to do that?

I have chacked the autohide option for the taskbar. When it hides there is a
thick line (2px wide). How can I completely hide the taskbar? I can use
Regedit or another utility if needed.

I'm running XP Pro and for some reason my screen savers
won't turn on at all anymore. All the screen saver
