Anyone know of a way to clear the default "Show in Groups" setting for folders (e.g. CD-ROM drive contents)? Any new CD or DVD has this set by default. Is there a registry setting I can use to have this setting

xp-pro how do i get the drop down icon that shows folders in either a thumbnail-icon-list-detail-etc, that's on the toolbar in explorer, to each be an icon on the toolbar as in 98 se, so i just click it on the toolbar, instead of the dropdown menu icon as it is now. i saw it on

My system will not save one setting on my desktop. Its the "show window contents while dragging". All other options get saved. This one doesn't for some reason. When I log out and log back in, it's turned off again.
