I did a complete reinstall of WinXP Home for a friend. Somehow, the "Explorer" icon, "Show Desktop" icon, etc., have disappeared. Searched MS Support Knowledge Base. When I queried the Knowledge Base, Article 310578 is the only one that was produced.
