I have a limited account, but is it possible for my
administrator to set up the screen resolution so the
administrators resolution is 1024*768 and my account has
a 1280*1024 resolution, so we both dont have to change

I keep getting an error when right clicking on Desktop to change the properties. It comes up with the window to "close & send it MS" "close without sending" and "cancel"?

I am trying to delete old display icons in the "Custom
Notifications" box (Start, Setting, Taskbar, Customize)
Many of those icons from the display are from old,
deleted files and software that no longer is on my

My task bar has gotten larger and I can't pull it back
down with the double arrow.  Even when I unlock the
taskbar I can't get it back to it normal size.  Anyone

I replaced my recycle bin icon, but is there a way to get

In my Internet Explorer 6.0 I have that symbol [AD]. If I click on it it
will display ads or picture. In my Task Manager I use to have a file that
had the word "ad" in it. For some reason that file is no longer there. Could
that be the cause of ads and pictures being hidden in IE.

I run XP Pro. I've customized my desktop taskbar to have
several imbedded shortcuts in a specific order as well as
some other shortcuts that appear when I hit the popup
arrow. Whenever I restart the computer it seems to change

Every time my computer either shuts down or I reboot, I get a message
"Previous resume from hibernate failed.  Press enter to return to Windows."
Then I press Enter and it says, "Returning to Windows."  It never just opens
to windows.  Okay doctors, what's up?  :o)

I was helping a friend setup up her winXp Box and she
wanted a secure logon (Ctrl+Alt+Del) at startup before
she logged in.  I could not figure out how to bring this
option up so I went to the help section in XP and it said
