Recently, I partioned my large hard disk into C and
Dparitions, D being the logical partition.  I can see the
partition and access it from the command prompt. However,
Windows Explorer does not show the partition under 'My

For some reason, Windows won't let me unselect the readonly checkbox. Has

I am running XP Pro, and System Restore is enabled.  When I try to run it I get the following message:
System Restore is not able to protect your computer, Please restart your computer,and then run System Restore again.  
Doe anyone have any ideas?

appears when a user chooses Start->Shut Down, but leave the "Hibernate" and

When using the Web, is there a way XP can show a little dotted box around
links (text/images/buttons,e.t.c.) as I click on them?  I'm getting no
reasurring, immediate indication that the link has been clicked on.
When I ran WIN 98 I had this dotted box, can't I have the same with ...
